Henneman Engineering, Inc. announces the retirement of Liz Douglas, PE, Senior V.P. and Director of Wisconsin

Liz joined Henneman Engineering in 1993 when the company had a total of thirty-five employees located in one office in Champaign, Illinois. Over the next eight years, Liz worked in the Champaign office with many different clients as the Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and medical gas systems, along with chilled water plants and high pressure steam systems for large university and healthcare campuses. Liz excelled and became a Project Manager and team leader of Henneman’s Healthcare Team. After Henneman purchased Jaspal Engineering of Madison, Wisconsin in 2001, Liz and her family relocated to Madison to transition leadership of that office from Jes Jaspal. Under Liz’s leadership, the Wisconsin branch of Henneman grew from twelve employees in Madison to sixty employees in Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay, Wisconsin providing a broad spectrum of engineering services including Technology System Design and Commissioning.

“I have enjoyed my years with Henneman Engineering and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given, the wonderful people I have worked with, and the exciting projects of which I have been a part,” says Liz. After many years of dedication to engineering, Liz now finds herself in a situation where she needs to focus on her family. She is looking forward to spending time with her father and other family members, and she is eager to experience being a full-time parent for the first time.

Henneman’s Wisconsin Leadership Team includes Clark Brenner heading the Madison office, Jason Allen leading Milwaukee, and Sam Graner in Green Bay. Matt Heil leads Henneman’s Industrial group, Tim Cole heads Technology, Tyson Glimme leads Commissioning and Construction Administration, and Grace Redovich leads Corporate Strategy. Please do not hesitate to contact either one of us or any of the members of the Wisconsin Leadership Team.

Liz will continue to live in Madison and is available to support the Henneman team, as needed. Please join us in wishing Liz well as she takes this important time to be with her family.
