The boiler plant consisted of three 300 boiler horsepower, high-pressure steam, fire-tube boilers with accessories that included waste heat economizers, steam deaerator/boiler feed assembly, blow-down heat recovery, standby fuel oil supply, and reverse osmosis make-up water conditioning. A utility tunnel, chillers, a cooling tower, sump and salt brine tank were also a part of this project.
The analysis of options and design of central energy plant, including all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems was also provided. Henneman provided complete engineering design/bidding/construction administration services for the new central plant.
