The new gymnasium is a single-story, 10,120-gross-square-foot building addition to the existing school facility with site work and interior retrofit/remodel of existing school space. The new gym contains a junior high school size basketball court, telescoping bleacher seating for 350 and a portable stage alcove with support spaces including a vestibule/lobby, concessions, restrooms, dressing rooms, storage area, and transition space with a new ramp to the existing lower first floor level.

Retrofit/remodel work of the existing facility includes space for new offices, conference room, reception area, cafeteria/multipurpose, band room, classrooms, and support spaces. A new school entrance and canopy at the east elevation of the existing building and a new interior entrance to the existing gymnasium from the corridor are also part of the project.

Henneman Engineering is providing complete architectural and engineering services for all phases of project development and construction administration and observation. Services include building program refinement and schematic design refinement based on the previously completed pre-referendum programming and schematic design work done by Henneman Engineering.
