LEED Consulting and Commissioning Services for New Bed Pavilion

Central DuPage Hospital

Henneman Engineering has been retained to provide LEED Consulting and Commissioning for the new Bedtower at Central DuPage Hospital.  The new building is 250,000 square feet with 202 patient rooms, administrative area, conference space, and an auditorium.  Henneman is responsible for performing reviews of the project at Design Development and Construction Document phases, reviewing shop drawings, and performing a nine month post occupancy walk thru and interviews to validate building performance and operation.

As LEED Consultant, Henneman Engineering is working with the entire design team to enhance the sustainable features of the building as it relates to site issues, water efficiency, energy efficiency, materials of construction and Indoor Environment Quality, in a cooperative effort to obtain USGBC LEED Basic Certification.
