Henneman provided commissioning services associated with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and auxiliary systems for the new 200,000-square-foot elementary/middle school and 300,000-square-foot new high school.
The new elementary and middle school is located in the southern portion of the school district in the Apple Creek Estates subdivision on Hercules Road between Dean Street and Route 47. The two schools are contained within a single structure and separated by a shared kitchen, stage, and mechanical system. The elementary school hold 500 students in grades 1-5. The middle school houses 1,000 students in grades 6-8.
The new high school is on an 80-acre campus located on property that the District owns on Raffel Road in the northeast quadrant of the school district. The building house 1,600 students in grades 9-12 and features two 3-story classroom wings, central courtyard, 600-seat auditorium, 8-lane swimming pool, and outdoor physical education and athletic complex with football and soccer stadium and track, baseball and softball fields, tennis and sand volleyball courts, and football and soccer practice fields.
