This new free-standing hospital is a single story 65,000 square foot long term acute care facility (I-2), specifically created to provide critical care and therapy services with 58 inpatient beds, including a 10 bed ICU. This project was built on a greenfield site. Sustainable design strategies include: high efficiency motors in all mechanical equipment, direct digital control for efficient HVAC monitoring and operational control, custom roof top units to take advantage of efficient cooling capabilities, high efficiency hot water heaters, low-flow water flush valves and water closets, occupancy sensors for lighting control, high efficiency lighting ballasts for energy efficiency, EPS Tier 2 emissions compliant emergency generator, and the facility exceeded Com-Check energy usage compliance requirements.

This project was designed to support a 100% digital facility with complete data accessibility. Unique MEP systems include a bulk oxygen storage tank and bulk diesel fuel storage tank.
The project was issued in multiple bid packages in order to meet a very aggressive schedule.
