This two-story, 40,100-square-foot building houses a fully outfitted rehabilitation gymnasium on the first floor that features a physical therapy treatment center, exercise facility, therapy pool, and industrial occupational equipment area. Offices, treatment rooms, shower and locker rooms, and waiting areas are also located on the first floor. The Pain Center, medical office space, the Springfield Specialty Clinics Neurological and Spine Institute, and the offices for Skaggs Orthopedic Associates are located on the second floor. The orthopedic office space includes exam rooms, nurse stations, x-ray facilities, cast rooms, doctor’s offices, consultation areas, and conference rooms. A $1-million, high-field, short-bore magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system is included in the facility.
Skaggs Community Health Center, located near growing downtown Branson, Missouri, partnered with local physicians to construct this medical building for orthopedic and neurology care.
Henneman Engineering was responsible for all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design on this project.
