Orthopedic/Neurology Center

Skaggs Community Health Center

Branson, Missouri

To bring their facility to the forefront of the orthopedic and neurology areas of treatment, Skaggs Community Health Center contracted to design and build a new orthopedic/neurology medical office building (MOB). The 40,000-square-foot, 2-story MOB serves as the “center-of-excellence” for all orthopedic and neurology care by providing all related specialties under one roof.

The 15,000-square-foot ground floor of the MOB houses physical therapy treatment center, occupational therapy area, speech therapy offices, therapy pool, and exercise room. Physician suites, pain center, and MRI suite are located on the 25,000-square-foot second floor. Both floors of the building were designed to provide ground level parking. The orthopedic office space includes exam rooms, nurse stations, x-ray facilities, cast rooms, doctor’s offices, consultation areas, and conference rooms. A $1-million, high-field, short-bore magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system was included in the facility.

Skaggs Community Health Center, located near growing downtown Branson, Missouri, partnered with local physicians to construct this medical building for orthopedic and neurology care.

The project utilized the Design/Build project delivery method. Henneman Engineering was responsible for all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design.
